NOVA Tuff Base is a high-quality gypsum undercoat plaster specially formulated for smooth, dense, or low- to medium-suction backgrounds where standard undercoat plasters may not adhere adequately. It is designed to provide excellent workability, easy spreading, and smooth finishing before applying a 2 mm skim coat of finishing plaster.

- Water required: 13.0 to 14.0 litres per 25 kg

- 2.75 to 3.0 m² / 25 kg at 11 mm thickness

Health, Safety & Handling
- Follow safe manual handling practices in accordance with HSE guidance and the Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 (MHOR)
- Employers and operatives should work together to minimise handling risks and maintain a safe working environment
- Do not apply to frozen surfaces. Protect freshly applied plaster from rapid drying and avoid exposing set plaster to temperatures above 49°C
- Keep out of reach of children
- Segregate plaster from non-gypsum waste for recycling where possible, and dispose of responsibly in accordance with local authority requirements

Shelf Life & Storage
- Shelf life: 12 months when stored correctly
- Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place away from moisture, heat, or direct sunlight
- Keep bags on dry, stable platforms and away from damp areas
- Reseal opened bags tightly to help prevent moisture ingress
