Homesure wShield Flexi Guard is a single-component, water-based acrylic-urethane protective coating for the maintenance and refurbishment of roof and external building surfaces where improved flexibility and durability are required. It cures to form a continuous protective film suitable for areas subject to normal substrate movement and weather exposure under suitable application conditions.

Uses:
- Maintenance and refurbishment applications on roof and exposed building surfaces
- Balconies, terraces, podiums, parapets, upstands and detailing areas
- Exposed concrete and compatible external surfaces where improved flexibility is required

Technical Data
- Grey thixotropic liquid
- Solids Content: 60 ± 3%
- Viscosity: 30000 – 50000 cP
- Density: 1.30 ± 0.05 g/mL
- Crack bridging: ≥ 4 mm
- Tensile strength: 1.10 ± 0.20 MPa
- Elongation at break: > 500%
- Water permeability: No water penetration observed under test conditions
- Coverage (two-coats): approx. 1.1–1.4 m²/kg, equivalent to approx. 1 mm DFT
- Primer coverage (where required): approx. 3.7–5.5 m² per kg when diluted
- Touch dry: approx. 2 hours
- Recoat time: typically, 3–5 hours
- Light curing: approx. 24 hours
- Full cure: up to 7 days depending on conditions
- Packaging: 5 kg & 20 kg re-sealable buckets

Health, Safety & Handling
- Follow safe manual handling practices
- Wear suitable PPE, including gloves and eye protection
- Avoid contact with skin and eyes, and ensure adequate ventilation during application and drying
- Do not apply to frozen, wet or damp substrates, or in rain, condensation risk, or when temperatures are below 5°C
- Protect freshly applied coating from water until fully cured
- Keep out of reach of children
- Dispose of contents and container in accordance with local authority requirements; avoid discharge into drains, watercourses or soil

Shelf Life & Storage
- Shelf life: 12 months when stored correctly
- Store in original unopened containers in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place
- Protect from frost, excessive heat and direct sunlight
- Keep containers tightly closed when not in use; reseal opened containers promptly after use
