Homesure wShield Flexi Guard is a single-component, water-based acrylic-urethane protective coating for the maintenance and refurbishment of roof and external building surfaces where enhanced flexibility and durability are required. It cures to form a seamless protective film with improved flexibility and accomodates normal substrate movement under typical service conditions.

Uses:
- Maintenance and refurbishment applications on roof and exposed building surfaces
- Balconies, terraces, podium decks, parapets, upstands and detailing areas
- Exposed concrete and compatible external surfaces where improved flexibility is required

Technical Data
- Appearance: Grey thixotropic liquid
- Specific Gravity (20±2°C): 1.30 ± 0.10
- Viscosity (20±2°C): 30,000 – 50,000 cP
- Solid Content: 60 ± 3%
- Tensile strength (indicative): 1.10 ± 0.20 MPa
- Elongation at break (indicative): > 500%
- Water resistance (indicative): Resistant to water ingress under normal service conditions
- Crack accomodation (indicative): Up to approx. 4 mm under controlled laboratory conditions
- VOC content: Low VOC
- Coverage: approx. 1.1–1.4 m²/kg for a two-coat application
- Primer coverage (where required): Approx. 3.7–5.5 m² per kg when diluted
- Surface dry: Approx. 2 hours
- Recoat interval: 3–5 hours
- Light curing: Approx. 24 hours
- Full cure: Typically within 7 days depending on site conditions
- Packaging: 5 kg & 20 kg re-sealable buckets

Health, Safety & Handling
- Follow safe manual handling practices
- Wear suitable PPE, including gloves and eye protection
- Avoid contact with skin and eyes
- Ensure adequate ventilation during application and drying
- Do not apply to frozen, wet or damp substrates
- Do not apply during rain, where condensation is expected, or when temperatures are below 5°C
- Protect freshly applied coating from water exposure until adequately cured
- Keep out of reach of children
- Dispose of contents and container in accordance with local regulations

Shelf Life & Storage
- Shelf life: 12 months from date of manufacture when stored correctly
- Store in original unopened containers in a cool, dry & well-ventilated place
- Recommended storage temperature: +5°C to +35°C
- Protect from frost, excessive heat and direct sunlight
- Keep containers tightly closed when not in use
- Reseal opened containers promptly after use
